Greetings everyone!
As the summer is getting closer and most colleges are ending with high school finishing up a month later, I have a special offer for those who are interested.
I am fully aware as all of you are of the challenging times we are living in including, of course, finances. So my thought was, if there are any students or professionals who would like to work with me, I'd like to offer them a break to work with me. Our culture has Memorial Weekend Specials, 4th of July deals, Labor Day Bargains etc. So my thought was to piggyback on a system that is already in place in our minds. SOOOO...
In honor of Memorial Day, I am offering a discount on private lessons. Starting on May 18th through June 1st, a one hour session with me, on Zoom, will be $125. This is half my standard rate. My standard rate does include a shorter follow-up session but this discounted rate will not.
If you are a teacher and would like to refer one of your students who you think could benefit from having a session with me, it would be an honor to work with them.
After working with people for nearly 59 years now (my 7th grade band director said to the trombones "take lessons from Norman") I have many ways to approach injuries, endurance issues, burnt-out-syndrome, range stuff and assisting a player to find the spirit of the music inside themselves. I feel each person has art inside of them. I have helped countless players with audition "stuckness" and general playing ruts. This offering is not closed to other brass instruments or musicians. I have worked with all the brass and many who have "high" end careers.
Thanks to all for reading this and hope some of you find it useful or know others you would like to recommend this offer to. My hope is to be able to offer this a few times throughout the course of a year that could hopefully fit inside most people's budgets.
Please feel free to pass along this offer to others. To take advantage of this offer, interested folks can get in touch with me at normtobe@gmail.com to set up a Zoom lesson.
